“Great b&b, ideal for work purposes”
The breakfast was tasty and cooked just the way I wanted, and the beds were super comfy. The spot is great—close to the M6, supermarkets, and restaurants—and the host was incredibly friendly.

The place was warm, comfy, and welcoming. I was running late because my van broke down, but they kept me waiting, gave me a lovely room, and cooked breakfast exactly to my taste. The family is hardworking, well‑mannered, and the kids are nice.

The bed was clean, the room was spacious, and breakfast was excellent. The traffic outside was noisy, but that’s unavoidable given the location.

Everything was spotless and cozy, and the lady who welcomed me made me feel right at home. The main road outside made it a bit noisy at night, but that didn’t stop me from sleeping well.

Breakfast was exceptional and cooked to order, with a wide range of vegetarian options and high‑quality ingredients. The family run business is lovely, and the location is convenient—just a 15‑20 minute walk to the Castle and Cathedral. Lidl is right over the road for snacks, and they provide tea, coffee, and a kettle. The downside was that our room faced a busy road and was noisy at times; thin walls let us hear other rooms too. Parking is on the ground outside the property and it’s hard to rejoin the road.
