I didn’t actually stay there because the place isn’t a B&B and the advertising was misleading. The lies in the ads put me in a bad situation with my 63‑year‑old mother and my five kids.

The only positive was the location. The house manager, her friends, and their kids ran up and down the wooden floors until past midnight, and there was a mosquito infestation that kept us awake all night. The bed sounded hollow and made a huge noise every time we tried to get on it.

The staff were very helpful when I lost my room key; they went out of their way to make sure I was okay and got me a spare key quickly, and they let me use their spices and utensils to cook while I waited. The only downside is that there should be a bell at the gate for arrivals.
