We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this hotel and felt incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, warm, and helpful, and it was clear that hospitality is truly lived here. The hotel was impeccably clean and well-maintained, making us feel completely comfortable. It was especially heartening to see how at ease our little son was; he felt almost at home, which made our family trip so special. We’ll bring back many fond memories and will return anytime. When we travel to Cornwall again, this hotel will definitely be our first choice. Thank you for the beautiful time and heartfelt hospitality!

“Enjoyable 2 night short break, comfortable room and friendly staff room and friendly staff”

The spot is quiet and the views are lovely. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make the stay pleasant, but as a vegetarian I noticed the food quality swung wildly depending on the chef. The first night’s spaghetti pomodoro was the best I’ve ever had, yet the second day’s dish was barely edible. The meat options were consistently good, and even the vegetarian breakfast varied—one was great, the other barely passable.

The setting is very nice and the staff are lovely. The place is very clean and the bed is comfortable, but my room had a loud fridge that woke me up several times. There was also no running water from the cold tap, which made things difficult, and it was a bit noisy at night—expected from a pub BnB.

The location is good and the staff are friendly, but the room was extremely hot.

We’ve stayed here many times and never get disappointed. Most of the staff are the same and gave a lovely welcome. The room overlooks the water, and we enjoyed the peaceful garden and the live music on Friday. Nothing to dislike.
