The grounds were tranquil and huge, and the rooms were spacious. It felt close to nature yet isolated, and the ropeway station was very near. The breakfast and dinner buffets were good. The rooms were a bit dated and you had to make your own futon beds.

It’s central and easy to reach. We stayed in a traditional futon room and it was a great experience. It was quiet and roomy. The hotel is quite large and busy.

The place is in a pastoral setting, close to the cable car, the rooms are large and airy, the onsen is excellent, and the hotel staff are courteous. The main access for tourists is by cable car, and since the cable service ends at 17:00 that creates a bit of a limitation.

The women's 's Onsen did have a beautiful view of Mt Fuji. It was that photo that made us book this hotel. The outdoor pool was lovely & there were lots of amenities such as blow dryers, shampoo, lotion, etc. We were also lucky to have a view of the mountain from our room . The other photos were a little misleading. The hotel itself is fairly run down. We did not realize that we would be eating our meals in a huge cafeteria that can hold up to 240 people. Not a very personal experience at all. We stayed in a traditional room, and the futons did not provide ample cushion cushion. The hotel needs some refurbishing
