There were on‑site food and entertainment options, but after calling and texting several times I never got a human response; when I tried to add a night at the start of my stay I was ignored, so I booked online instead, and only after one night did someone finally call and try to move us to a different room, which was eventually fixed.

I tried to capture a vintage vibe, but it fell flat. Always read the fine print: 72$ per night for a very basic room, and those rates don’t even apply on weekends. The building feels old and dirty, right next to train tracks. Inside, the room has only a desk, a bed, and an AC—no fridge, microwave, or TV. The bed is lumpy, and the price isn’t justified. Ratings on Booking are misleading. The restroom, shower, and the single “kitchenette” on the second floor are all shared, and the place is full of ugly old stains. That kitchenette is basically the janitor’s back room, with a soda fridge that has no icebox, no ice machine, and just one microwave. The toilet stalls are so tiny you can’t even close the door, and the TP feels like sandpaper.

The building was gorgeous and the check‑in was super quick and easy—wish every hotel worked like this! No complaints.
