Overall, the location is quite convenient; walking to the center takes 25 minutes, and you’re also close to two metro stations and the central. Nearby you’ll find everything from Cartier to Carrefour Express and places to eat. The rooms are fairly quiet, but there are some quirks. The price of 140 euros per night felt high for what I experienced. The towels had terrible stains, so I wasn’t even sure if they were clean. The sink was awful—there was no drain part—and it smelled unpleasant. The extractor fan was covered in dust, seemed never cleaned, and it hummed so loudly you couldn’t just be in the bathroom. The shower cabin was mostly clean, but the shower itself leaks, and the water drips from the shower head, so you have to wash in intervals to avoid standing in a puddle. The lighting in the room was awful, making it hard to get a normal look. Wi‑Fi is free, but the signal near the bed is weak and hard to maintain on your phone. If you sleep with the windows open, the morning can smell like buttered dough baking, depending on which side you’re on. The reception floor also has an unpleasant smell. You can still hear someone upstairs because the wooden partitions are thin. The furniture feels like it was taken from the street, giving a vintage vibe. In photos it looks great, but in reality the price should be lower by about 30 percent, I think.

There’s parking for the car near the hotel, but the room doesn’t have air conditioning.
