At Ibis there were no surprises; it guarantees peace through standardisation. I chose it because I couldn’t find anything else nearby, outside the city, and I usually prefer more “typical” places. For the hotel itself – room, services, cleanliness, peace, isolation – everything was fine. The reception staff were very pleasant and “human”, which I highlight because in big chains it’s always professional but not always warm. The environment was rather bland for me, a commercial zone with the advantage that everything to eat is close by, but it can’t be called “charming”. (That said, that’s the point of this type of hotel. No complaints, a “satisfaction expected” from the moment I booked (2 hours before). Breakfast was a bit messy, probably because it arrived at a bad time. Many items were missing, including glasses and cutlery, but the staff worked hard to fix it quickly. It’s not a big problem.) The surroundings and being in the middle of the city is a personal matter.

The rooms were clean and fairly comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the location was convenient. I missed a fridge and kettle in the room, a few cups and glasses, and a bottle opener.
