The staff were amazing… and the food was delicious. The rooms really need updating; they’re very dated, have holes in the walls, ripped curtains, and the shower was dirty with mould.

Staff were great and helpful. The room was clean and warm with sufficient bedding and good towels. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice. The room was a bit tired. The car park was challenging, although there’s another public car park just around the corner.

A nice place for a short stay: the room was clean, tidy, and quiet; breakfast was nice; staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great but you need to walk a short distance to the car park. The room was very small, but the bed was comfy; I’d want more space for a longer stay, but it was fine for my one‑night stay.

The building is old and very large; some parts have been tastefully improved. The room was comfortable with a good tea kettle, etc. The upper floors are a bit tired but clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the food was good.
