The bungalows were very pretty and the grounds were well maintained. We stayed in a “cabin” and a white house; the cabins had a special touch, but the houses were a bit more spacious and better furnished. It’s only a few minutes to the beach, though you can also stay by the pool, which is very quiet and usually not crowded. We were initially disappointed that no breakfast was offered, but there were great options in cafés and warungs right on the beach. Two nights were fine. As mentioned earlier, there was apparently a kitchen/restaurant once; it would be nice to have something on site. Also, water should be provided; we had it at all other accommodations of this category on our trip.
