“A cosy stay in a beautiful hotel, with exceptionally lovely staff.”

A beautiful home in a beautiful village. The owner Frau Wald was incredibly accommodating and a wonderful woman to chat with. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, and the shower was warm. Spritzig water was supplied in a fridge downstairs. Because it’s so close to FKB airport, there was a lot of airplane noise, but not overnight. It seemed there were no overnight flights to or from the airport, so I slept peacefully the whole night despite flights restarting at 6 am.

Nothing special; the room on the floor was poorly insulated, the heat was unbearable and the airplane noise was constant, and the room had almost no equipment.

Mrs Wald was very friendly, reached out before arrival, was very engaged, gave good recommendations for activities and food, the hotel was very clean, the beds comfortable, and they accommodated special requests; we four felt very comfortable at Hotel Wald.

Very friendly service, but the air conditioning was missing on hot summer nights.
