“Buena experiencia en Amaterdam”
The location is great, close to Museumplein and the area is very quiet, but the room feels a bit narrow.

Hotel Nicolaas Witsen sits on a quiet street in central Amsterdam, a five‑minute walk from the Heineken Brewery and ten minutes from the Rijksmuseum and Albert Cuyp Market. Rooms feature flat‑screen TVs, free Wi‑Fi, work desks, and private baths. The on‑site bar offers refreshing drinks, while a continental breakfast is served in the bar area. Nearby cafés, restaurants, and the Frederiksplein tram stop provide easy access to the city’s major attractions.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was a bit small but functional, and the location is very central—about 200 m from a tram stop that serves several lines in different directions, and many sights are also within walking distance. The breakfast was good, varied, and I would book this hotel again.

The hotel is very well situated near the city centre, very clean, and the room is lovely. The only downside is the lack of wardrobes if you’re a group of four, both in the room and the bathroom, otherwise there’s nothing negative to mention.

The location is nice, close to a metro/tram station yet very quiet, and the neighbourhood is pleasant for walking. I stayed on the street‑facing ground floor and it wasn’t noisy. Breakfast was really good—simple, but every dish and pastry was excellent. Shower, AC, and Wi‑Fi all worked well. The price was competitive for the location. The room was compact but spacious enough, with a good desk and closet, and it has original character. This is my second stay at the hotel, and they always leave me with happy memories. I had a fond memory of interacting with staff from my first visit, though this time it wasn’t as memorable—they were very professional and I didn’t find it disturbing. The lighting was a little dim for desk work.
