The room was incredibly well designed. Very comfortable. And the private onsen was perfect with the open air design! The food was also unique and very good service. It was different variety each night also. Not much I didn't like. I think the dinner took long to finish

Incredibly calm and picturesque. The private in-house bath was a joy to sink into after a busy time in Osaka/Tokyo. Free light refreshments are a nice touch. While not a super traditional Ryokan - it feels like a nice middle ground between a conventional hotel and a Ryokan. There isn't a lot of comms about meal options so make sure you communicate that prior to the staff so you can book in. I can also imagine if you were lower on the floors that things wouldn't be as nice to look at

Great Onsen experience, both public and private. Huge size room, very nice layout and interior. Nice dinner and breakfast (despite me being a picky eater, but that's a me problem). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Extras: 90 minutes fullbody massage was great after a week of walking. They also sell tattoo covers at the front desk for those that need it and arrive without. No dislikes
