Couldn’t see neighbors, really highly functional, easy access, cleanliness, excellent facilities, privacy, beautiful, well‑appointed. The toilet seat was loose and the shower head was problematic.

I absolutely loved the location and the place itself was adorable! I appreciated that it was pet friendly and came with privacy. The deck was AWESOME! We only stayed one night to attend Brevard College baseball games, but it was a convenient location for sure. The price did not reflect the quality of the stay. With the dogs, the one bedroom with sleeper was over $500. The kitchen faucet was coming off and difficult to use. All hand soap was watered down. The sleeper sofa was impossible to sleep on due to discomfort and the only bedding was one flat sheet and lightweight throw blankets. It was an adorable place but if you are going to advertise it has a sleeper sofa, you really need to supply bedding and something you can actually sleep on. I had to sleep sitting up on the chaise section so my mom would be able to have the bed and the bedding to stay warm. For the cost you can stay somewhere with more amenities

The location was great, right at Pisgah's gate. 10 minutes to 2 or 3 breweries. Beautiful cabin with great views. Very comfy bed. Great bathroom. Could not quite get the ac/heat unit working to warm up the unit. I was ok, just snuggled more. The flood was a little sandy feeling

We booked Pilot Cove as a last-minute, emergency place to stay after spending the previous night at a VRBO rental that didn’t work out. Our bar was low, but Pilot Cove would have cleared any bar. The cabin was perfect, clean and comfortable and perfectly located adjacent to Pisgah National Forest. We enjoyed it so much we started wondering what it would take to build an identical unit on our land in upstate New York
