The spot was spot on, just a stone's throw from the train station and the room was roomy and spotless. The downside was the awful lack of soundproofing on the first floor; the bass from the pub below kept pounding all day and into the night, so I couldn't sleep until after midnight when the music finally cut out. I even had to go downstairs to ask the bar to lower the volume, only to find it closed and the lights off while the music kept going. It was exhausting and left us pretty down for the rest of the stay, and the TV had to fight against the noise from below.
