“We will be back.”
The location was perfect. There’s a lot to do in Rutland, and a short drive takes you to Woodstock, a charming town full of shops and great restaurants. The free breakfast was excellent, with many options and a complimentary bottle of water. The gentleman who checked us in was very personable and professional. No negatives.
“For over $200 I expected more and to not have to clean a shower before l could use it.”
I always stay there when I go to VT to visit my mom. I’ve never had any issues until this time. The room hadn’t been cleaned. Dirty towel were left under the sink vanity, the bathtub/shower had someone else’s hair everywhere. The bathroom floor along with the entrance had not been swept or vacuumed. The sink had toothpaste in it and the mirror was dirty and the toilet paper roll was almost empty. I would’ve addressed the issues promptly if I had seen the issues when I first checked in and went into the bathroom but hadn’t gotten to my room super late from visiting my mom in the rehabilitation home and my brother. After a 5 1/2 hour drive the only thing I wanted was a hot shower to clean up and a good nights sleep. I had to clean the shower before I could use it. I’m Very disappointed. I expected more. Especially when I paid over $200 for one night
“Work friendly”
Breakfast was tasty, with decent variety, and the room offered a good workspace and a comfortable seating area besides the bed; the free water was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. Nothing else stood out; it’s one of the better places I’ve stayed.
“Amazing hotel finally.”
The room was super comfy, spotless, and had plenty of space, and checking in felt effortless; the breakfast outshone everything we've had at other hotels. No complaints.
“It was there.”
I was able to check in early, but the room emitted an unpleasant odor that didn’t dissipate.
