The establishment hosts people every day, especially on weekends, who pay for a day to party. The hotel is old and somewhat dilapidated.
“Relajo al sol con amigas”
The space is pleasant, with a good atmosphere and decor, and they offer complimentary drinks and well‑prepared dinner, plus beach and room towels. The beach edge is set up with loungers and beach chairs, which enhances the experience nicely. In the room it would help to have extra toilet paper for the stay, and to make sure all bathroom fixtures work; the one in our room was broken and got fixed while we were there. Breakfast took longer than expected; when more people arrive for the day the service slows down, so guests should be prioritized. Also, the transport from Cartagena doesn’t leave from the little bar as booking says, but from Boca Grande, Hospital sector; this should be corrected in the description because it made us pay an extra taxi.
The manager was super helpful and basically did the work of two people. The rooms are clean and the air conditioning works. The view from the restaurant to the beach is a plus. The waitresses were clueless, with zero smiles or courtesy. All our bills were mixed up and incorrectly issued; there is no working system there. Hosting a birthday party for outsiders in the hotel is a disaster: loud music from the morning, a crowded pool and restaurant, so it’s not a place to relax. The island is dirty and littered.

The location is perfect on Tierra Bomba, just around the corner from all the day bars. The staff are very friendly, there are plenty of sun beds by the pool and on the beach, the Wi‑Fi is good, and the staff are lovely. Beers are cheap and the food is good, though not brilliant. The showers have very poor water pressure.
