There was nothing noteworthy. The hotel sits in the middle of nowhere with no dining facility. The caretaker wouldn’t let us into the room until we paid. There was no reception area, no desk, and the portico was dimly lit. Only two rooms were on that portico, and the approach road didn’t exist. Breakfast was not available, even though it was advertised as included. My blind faith in the place was shaken. One review claimed the food was exceptional, but I can’t see how that’s possible.

The host was very helpful, arranging a clever solution for our onward travel and even ordering a taxi for us. Later, he checked in again to see if everything had worked out.

DKV Beach house was calm and peaceful, and it turned out to be very romantic for us during our stay. A private beach nearby was clean and had only a few people. The host was friendly and helpful, the homemade food was superb, and we got the rest and relaxation we needed.

A chill beach house just steps from a private shore, with a terrace overlooking the sea, a spotless room, and a bed that’s super cozy. The host was friendly and even cooked a special homemade seafood lunch for me. I’d definitely suggest this spot for a peaceful escape.

The vibe was incredibly calm, the place felt very comfortable, and I was completely happy with everything—definitely want to return. Service was great, the accommodation was top‑class, and everyone was polite. It’s the best stay in Pondicherry that comes with its own private beach.
