The receptionist was welcoming and nice, but another staff member demanded a fee for white linen and showed no empathy. The bedding was not white but red and mixed colors; the bed bases were exposed and stained, lacking covers. I asked for white duvet covers and was charged R300, which would be refunded if the sheets were left clean. The bedroom floor had a dirty small carpet, and the toilet floor was wet from a leak. Patrons on the front veranda could make noise, and windows were open, so there was no comfort; I won’t return.
