“Good stay, confusing check in system”
The hotel sits in a convenient spot and breakfast is served at the neighboring hotel, making the room a solid one‑night base. Checking in was confusing because I’d booked three separate rooms, which tripped up the front desk. Access was odd too; we had to walk through a restaurant to reach the check‑in desk, and the same person was serving tables when we arrived.
“3 Nächte Okay”
The hotel is centrally located on Drosselgasse and near the pedestrian zone. The bathroom is extremely small; the sink blocks the toilet, and the toilet paper hangs behind you, making it hard to reach. The shower is adequately sized. A small fridge was apparently removed at some point.
“Zeer teleurstellend!”
I arrived to find the beds still in the state the previous guests left them, with two empty beer bottles and an empty wine bottle on the table. Towels hadn’t been changed and the shower was still wet. The price shown on Vgs Booking was 84 €, breakfast included, yet we ended up paying 99 € plus an extra 35 € for breakfast. The “garage” was a cramped, dirty parking spot that barely fit our car, forcing us to remove our luggage before parking. Staff spoke broken German and were far from friendly. Wi‑Fi didn’t work, and we were given a tiny room that didn’t help. A truly sad start to our holiday, definitely not recommended.
