Hotel Agur is centrally located in Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol, 150 metres from the sea. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms with TVs and private bathrooms, some with hot tubs. A 24-hour reception and games room are available. Excursions to nearby cities can be arranged. The bus and train stations are just 100 metres away, with Málaga Airport 20 minutes by train.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous, and the room was very clean. We booked a room with two single beds but only received one duvet/blanket; when we asked for another, none was available, so we had to use extra sheets instead. The shower drain was clogged and overflowed, so we had to use towels to mop up the water, turn the shower off to wash it, and then turn it back on to rinse.

The location was good. The promises weren’t kept – there was no breakfast, no Wi‑Fi, and no parking as expected.

The location is great and the price is reasonable. The only downside was having to do a self check‑in.

I paid a low price for a single night, so I expected a basic experience, which it was—clean and bright but nothing more. The room was tiny, barely enough space to swing a cat, and only two pillows were provided. Getting to the room involved taking the lift, climbing a few stairs, and crossing an internal bridge, which was a hassle in an old building.
