The breakfast room with the gorgeous view is the highlight of the place. The bed was very uncomfortable, there was mould on the blinds, and there were no signs indicating that CCTV was active. Note this if you stay in the single room with an external toilet.

Tony is an excellent host – very friendly and approachable, and nothing was too much trouble. I recommend the hearty breakfast and would gladly stay again. An on‑suite bathroom would have been nice, but it’s not a deal‑breaker.

The room was small but comfortable, clean, and fit our needs for a one‑night stay; the breakfast was good and a short walk downhill led to restaurants and bars. However, with the curtains open we could see straight into the breakfast room, so we had to close them for privacy when relaxing.

The breakfast was fantastic, and the welcome was very friendly. The room was nice and the windows opening let in fresh air, though the mattress wasn’t as supportive as we’d like.
