“Great potential - but stay away unless renovated”

Nice and vast estate, has potential to become a great resort. Very friendly and dedicated 1 person staff. Poor hygiene (molds, hair.) and very poor maintenance. Insufficient staffing: the only person who seems to be running the place does her best, but she is overwhelmed

“Overall disappointing and not value for money”

The spot was great, but we were hit with major construction during our stay, and nothing on the site or booking page warned us. On day one the hotel only gave us a two‑hour heads‑up about a water cut that was supposed to last a few hours, then later they moved it to the next day. Wi‑Fi stayed down until the evening of the last night. They say the cottage comes with a hair dryer and mini fridge, yet neither was in our unit.

My stay at this property was a mixed bag. On the positive side, I loved the location, the history of the property, and the engaging staff and owners who have ambitious plans to expand and improve the site. However, I was disappointed with the limited food choices and the high prices, and we also encountered some accessibility issues due to a lack of designated handicap parking.

“Great stay and location for a hiden getaway great food and atmosphere looking forward to our next stay”

My wife's birthday weekend was made special by the wonderful staff at this hotel, who provided a great stay with excellent service. My only minor complaint was that my wife didn't like the air freshener in our room, but it was easily removed and didn't detract from our overall experience.
