The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but there was little natural light and we missed having glasses and a kettle.

The rooms were appealing and the bathroom was clean and spacious, but there was no elevator, so at age 76 I had to carry my suitcase up to the second floor myself.

We booked last minute after Lufthansa ruined our flight and left us without accommodation; the hotel is only 9 minutes from the airport, so it was convenient and cheap. The room smelled awful when we arrived, and there was no lift or assistance, so we had to haul heavy bags up several flights of stairs. The bathroom was dirty. The website says check‑in ends at 11 pm, but when we got there just after 10 pm the front desk was shut with only a contact number on the door. Because we had just landed in Germany, we couldn’t call the number and had to ask other guests to do it for us.
