The room offered amazing views, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and being at the end of Grand Anse beach with easy access to the artificial reef for snorkeling was a bonus; walking to BBC and visiting La plywood was well worth it. The hotel is compact and we felt treated more like individual guests than just another number at the larger Grand Anse resorts. The pool is just a decorative feature in the tight main area with the open lounge, bar, and restaurant; the high-end pricing didn’t give us that chill‑and‑relax vibe, and the food was good sometimes but poor other times.

The hotel at Mount Cinnamon was spotless and in great shape, and the staff were warm, friendly, and helpful—especially the housekeeping crew. I loved returning each day to a perfectly made bed with a small cookie left on it, a very thoughtful detail.

The property itself is beautiful, perched on a hill with gorgeous views, blending classic Grenadian style with modern touches. I liked having options to dine at the hotel with a view or on the beach. Manager Laura was very attentive and welcoming, and the reception staff were always friendly and happy to help. The shuttle addition was extremely useful. It's close enough to the main town and Grande Anse beach yet far enough to feel relaxed and intimate. I also appreciated that, while it didn't market itself as an adult hotel, there were few families and children around, adding to the ambiance—especially during SpiceMas. It would be helpful if the hotel offered room service (it wasn't available to me) and if rooms provided flyers or leaflets about good local eateries and spots to visit, which would be handy for tourists, but otherwise the hotel itself was fine.
