It’s heartbreaking to think about exhausted guests who arrive tired, don’t speak the local language, and feel they have no choice but to stay because finding alternative accommodation on such short notice is nearly impossible. This feels like organized crime targeting vulnerable travelers. The entire listing is a trap. I booked a room with a private bathroom, only to find out upon arrival that it was shared—a fact the host later admitted in messages. I initially tried to close my case without a refund and without doing any actual investigation or due diligence. I was forced to spend my vacation fighting through the app, providing screenshots, and proving their lies myself just to get justice. Do not trust the photos or the description; it is all a fraud designed to trick you.

A cozy hotel in a nice neighborhood in Rome, surrounded by many cafes and stores right outside. The Diamond suite is air‑conditioned, has a bathroom, mini‑fridge, and a kettle, and gives direct access to the hotel garden terrace, which is great for warm Rome mornings and evenings.

The sheets and towels were dirty. The bathroom was filthy and shared with another room even though I had booked a room with a private bathroom that was not available. The staff were absent.

The place looked modern and newly furnished at first, which was a pleasant surprise, but that was one of the few positives. Just before we arrived, the host texted us saying he wanted to cancel because of ongoing construction. Since we were already about to travel and had flights booked, we were understandably shocked. He offered a discount, so we accepted the booking. When we got there, the room was unacceptable: holes in the walls, exposed plaster, hot water that didn’t run consistently, and no basic storage like shelves or hooks. We weren’t told about these issues beforehand, and it really messed up our Rome trip. We tried to stay reasonable and suggested a 30% discount, citing the severity of the problems and the host’s earlier offer. Instead of fixing it, the host delayed replies, avoided giving a clear answer, and even accused us of blackmail, which was completely uncalled for. This attitude was highly unprofessional and disrespectful. When something goes wrong, how a host handles it matters most, and in this case it was handled poorly and unfairly. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend this accommodation. If something unexpected happens, don’t expect reliable or honest communication.
