The place is fine because it’s just steps from the city, but the balcony and window in the room let in a lot of outside noise at night—cars passing and people talking are clearly audible, so we didn’t sleep well 😢.

We were looking for a decent place to stay in Sagada and found this one. When we arrived, our booking wasn’t listed for that day, but Ali was very helpful, checked the booking, and made sure we were accommodated, even checking us in early. The mini‑store and water station are just below the hotel, and because it’s near the road you’ll always hear passing vehicles, which we didn’t mind as other reviews mentioned. Overall, it was a decent stay and they offer unlimited coffee. The property could use some improvements: 1. In our room (301) the balcony door lock doesn’t work properly. 2. The toilet door is hard to lock and makes an annoying sound; there’s a hole inside the toilet and we could hear something grinding. 3. There are gaps in the room that let bugs (a roach) in, which we managed to shoo away.

At the end, one has to say that for the price you can’t expect more.

I woke up to a cold room with no air‑conditioning, only white sheets and no thick blanket, which was a real disappointment.

The place was clean and quiet, but the map was confusing and the Tourist Centre was quite a climb down—so getting there involved a lot of walking, though that’s not the hostel’s fault.
