The hotel’s décor is very pretty, it has a good restaurant and cafeteria/lounge bar with very helpful staff, parking is available for guests, and you can arrange a paid transfer to Matera. We booked a guided minibus tour in Matera through Booking and it was very good. Breakfast is very complete.

The hotel was precise, clean and had all the services needed for a perfect stay, but even though it’s marketed as a Matera hotel, it’s a bit far.

The venue is designed for an international audience, very large and obviously a bit crowded because it also hosts ceremonies and events; the place is well cared for, the pool is often quite crowded, and the restaurant prices are a bit high. It’s hard to give suggestions, since the property is in a fairly “industrial” area that seems to cater to a specific international market; we were a bit annoyed by the BBQ set up for a wedding, but there was no other option.
