The location is simply gorgeous, with large plains, forests, and the castle in the background visible from the property. The rooms are meticulously thought out and clean. There was a bit of noise at night, though I never figured out where it was coming from (other guests?). The check-in process was slightly confusing as there are multiple buildings. Paying the deposit required making a wire transfer, which was fine, but it might be worth finding an easier option

The garden seating overlooking the Trosky is gorgeous; I gathered herbs for tea at sunset on the meadow near the lodging, and the room was spotless and nicely furnished. We had a room with a whirlpool and a sauna, both of which we used extensively. The shared kitchen is beautiful, each person has their own fridge shelf. The breakfast was superb, high‑level with homemade yogurt that thrilled us. The shower head should be replaced; for rooms in this price range, something better is expected. Otherwise everything is fine.

The new accommodation looks lovely, but I expected a kitchen in the apartment and instead the kitchen was shared among five rooms.
