I loved the location—quiet, surrounded by spectacular greenery, perfect for relaxing and spotting birds. The food is exquisite, and the whole team’s service stands out.

The common area and staff were very pleasant, but the rooms were quite dirty, poorly equipped, and we could hear everything from neighboring rooms as if they were in ours. We also asked for a pick‑up from the bus station like all other accommodations, but they didn’t respond and only picked up guests from other hotels, not us.

“Una mala idea”

The only redeeming factor is the natural environment surrounding the hotel. The room was dirty with spider webs, and we were given an old, noisy, dusty fan. Even after deciding to stay, it was a terrible idea: at midnight we woke up with bed‑bugs bites and a spider. When we reported it the next morning, they just said there were other hotels and didn’t refund us, so we obviously switched hotels.

“Lugar fantástico”

A very tranquil spot right in the forest. I walked to Semuc Champey Park, which took about 40 minutes. The staff were friendly and attentive; Leo helped me with travel advice and booking my stay at Biotopo del Quetzal (he has a friend who works there and called). They offer many activities and a shuttle to Flores. The food is delicious, but it was expensive for me, especially since there are no other options nearby (supermarkets or cooking facilities).
