“Perfect overnight stay apart from the beds.”
Getting to Gatwick was a breeze, and the grounds were lovely for unwinding, though we never used the pool because it looked great from the outside. The gym was well equipped, and the on‑site restaurant had a nice vibe; we grabbed a snack in the bar area. Free car parking was a big plus, especially since airport hotels usually charge outrageous rates for overnight parking. The mattresses were a real issue—very uncomfortable—and I told reception, who said new Hypnos beds would arrive soon; I also hope they’ll upgrade to larger beds because the current double is tiny and my husband, 6ft 5in, had trouble. On the bright side, the rooms are spacious, come with an ironing board and iron, and would benefit from a luggage rack. Everything else was spot‑on: the staff were friendly, breakfast was fantastic with fresh croissants and plenty of options, and the breakfast lady was lovely and accommodating.
