Mr & Mrs K’s Villa in Kandy offers spacious family rooms with private bathrooms, air‑conditioning, balconies and terraces overlooking a lush garden. Guests enjoy free Wi‑Fi, a bar, streaming services, refrigerator and comfortable seating. Breakfast includes American, full English/Irish and Asian options. Complimentary private parking, pet‑friendly policy, and proximity to Kandy Temple, Royal Botanical Gardens and Victoria Reservoir enhance the stay.

Such a lovely, tranquil spot just outside Kandy, it was perfect for us. We stayed on the top floor in a nice room with a view, a TV with Netflix, a comfy bed, and excellent shower facilities. Mrs K is an exceptional cook and served us lovely Sri Lankan dishes for both lunch and breakfast the next day—we were spoiled! Mr K made sure we got fair prices for tuk‑tuks and also told us what was happening in the city at the time, which was helpful. He arranged a private driver to Nuwara Eliya so we could see the tea plantation on the way and booked the train onwards to Ella. Nothing to complain about; it was perfect. The entry fee to Kandy was less than 500 LKR, so it was very cheap.

Perfect accommodation in Kandy, though it’s 10/15 minutes by car, it’s worth staying here; you avoid Kandy’s chaos and are practically next door. We had a two‑storey room that was perfect and spotless. The owners’ friendliness is incredible. The food is spectacular (one of the best we’ve tasted in Sri Lanka). The outdoor garden is very pleasant and quiet. I’d definitely stay here again. Nothing.

The breakfast was incredibly tasty with a wide selection of dishes. The place feels lovely, green, and cozy—perfect for unwinding after travel. Mr & Mrs K were very friendly and welcoming hosts. I’d suggest staying longer than originally planned to fully relax!
