Located at the end of the long drive on a secluded piece of land, the owner and host created a cosy feel like visiting a friend. We were offered a different room than the one we had booked, with a gorgeous view onto the garden. Fires were burning in the fireplaces in the ample lounge. The dining room had individual tables, and drinks were served before dinner at 7 pm, reinforcing the feeling of visiting a friend. Nothing to dislike.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful location, surrounded by a lovely house and garden - there were loads of spots to chill out. The bed was super comfy and our host, Angus, was really friendly and welcoming. He even whipped up some delicious food for us, with a great selection of drinks to go with it.

It was really relaxing here, just what we needed. Only downside was that there wasn't a bell at the entrance, but other than that, it was perfect.

This place was a real treat - we loved starting each day with a delicious breakfast overlooking the gardens. The owner and staff were so friendly and made us feel really welcome. We also enjoyed having drinks on the terrace in the evenings, followed by a tasty three-course dinner. If you're looking for a break in the Scottish countryside, I'd definitely recommend it.
