The place is stunning, the facilities are well maintained, and the staff are courteous. Breakfast is well served, and lunch and dinner offer a variety of dishes, though nothing extraordinary. When we headed to the rooms, we had to wait over an hour in line for someone to take us to our rooms (I was with an 80‑year‑old lady and another 60‑year‑old). My bed consisted of two single beds that pulled apart when we moved, which was annoying and uncomfortable because of the divider. My mother‑in‑law’s room had a burnt‑out bulb that wasn’t replaced. At night they lock the refrigerators with padlocks, so we can’t drink beer, and the vending machines are also locked, leaving only the reception bar. The pool area gets very dark at night, increasing the risk of accidents.
