The space was large, the water was warm. The AC was not very cold.
“OK”
The hotel sits in a nice spot with plenty of mini markets, street food, and a local market nearby. The security staff were very friendly and professional, always smiling and upbeat. Parking was available and very cheap. The room matched the description on Booking. However, I expected Wi‑Fi throughout, but it only worked in certain areas of the hotel, so I had to buy a modem to stay connected for work.
The location is strategic, but I was disappointed that the hot water in my room was not working; they said it had been fixed, yet it still wasn’t functioning in room 223.
I didn't find anything good here; everything was disappointing, especially considering the price, the building feels old and poorly maintained.
“Good for the price, but many things could be improved (plumbing, pests and wifi).”
The property was close to many street vendors, making local food easy to find. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and I liked having a small balcony to dry clothes. The place was generally quiet, except for occasional loud conversations from other guests in the hallways. The air conditioning kept the room at a pleasant temperature. On the downside, there was no fridge in the room, which was problematic because I need to keep medication refrigerated. Tiny biting ants were everywhere, making it hard to store food, and Wi‑Fi was only available in common areas, useless for me. The bathroom sink leaked onto the floor from below, so I had to be careful not to get my feet wet while washing or brushing. The street outside is a bit tricky to navigate, with broken footpaths, street vendors, and motorcycles parked over them; sturdy shoes with good grip are essential, and you’ll be walking on the road most of the time.
