A superb location, a fairytale inn where traditional style is blended with comfort and modern technology. I recommend it with confidence. Mrs. Lucreția and Mr. Ghiță are truly great hosts.

“Cosy and memorable.”

The place is amazing, like a small castle. The rooms are nice, clean, comfortable, with nice details; the hallways resemble a museum, showcasing pieces of Maramureș history from ground level to the top floor. The furniture inside the rooms is very interesting, and everything is clean. The interior courtyard is great, a spot to stay and have a drink, and the museum continues there as well; behind the 'șura' there’s a lovely orchard where you can relax or barbecue. The host is something else—very open and relaxed, you can share stories, listen to stories, and they can show you the history of the place; they are very kind and humble. We highly recommend this place and will definitely book again. The lady of the house served us tea and coffee in the morning just because. What a nice stay we had, it felt like home.

These people were extremely welcoming and kind, and made me feel extremely comfortable. I highly recommend them and their beautiful home. It is absolutely worth it for the price. Usually these are just places to sleep for me, but staying here became a memorable part of my trip and I appreciate everyone who made it so great
