“Will definitely visit again, extremely comfortable beds, clean rooms, and bathroom”
We got there early from Nanaimo after catching the first ferry from Horseshoe Bay. We’d never been to the area and didn’t know where we were headed. The drive was lovely, but we were all quite ill with bad colds and very tired, so we were grateful to be able to check in early; thank you for the excellent accommodation. The hot tub was fine but had no jets; the pool was too cold, though it was nice that it wasn’t crowded. Breakfast ended too early. If the rooms are comfortable, nobody wants to get up early just for a mediocre breakfast—please consider changing this. Many hotels do this, and it takes away from the experience, forcing you to get out of bed before 9:30 AM. We pay enough for the rooms and all the extra fees—that’s a lot of money for just sleeping. I’m quite displeased with the new trend of closing the “free breakfast” early so people can’t eat. We’re paying premium fees for little in return.
