The bed was a real highlight, but I was disappointed that the room didn’t have a hair dryer as advertised. On a rainy night the room got damp because of a leak near the pool.

The breakfast was tasty and the place looked lovely, plus there was plenty of parking. One evening the music was so loud it felt like a dance floor; we complained and the issue was fixed, but the hotel should enforce its no‑sound‑box rule more strictly.

The coffee was amazing and the leisure area was fantastic. During winter, a light heating system for the pool and warmer jacuzzis would make the week‑long stay more appealing.
