Posada El Labrador sits beside San Vicente de la Barquera harbour, a 60‑km drive from the Picos de Europa. The mountain‑style guest house boasts tiled floors, beamed ceilings, rustic furnishings, and a spacious terrace overlooking the harbour, Puente de la Maza Bridge, and distant peaks. Rooms feature central heating, flat‑screen TV, private baths, Wi‑Fi, and individually decorated views. The town centre lies 500 m away.

The room and the bay view from it were spectacular, even more beautiful than the photos, surpassing our expectations!

Everything was brand new, but the location was inconvenient for reaching any bar and the 6‑euro breakfast left a lot to be desired; I even went down before breakfast for a coffee and was told they only made “melita” coffee for breakfast, so I didn’t get one. The breakfast came with a cup of coffee and a cup of milk. The bed was too hard, and both my husband and I ended up with back pain for two days, even though I usually prefer firmer mattresses.

Nice room and bathroom, a cool spot close to the center. Still amazed that even the young staff at the hotel can’t handle English. The view isn’t an issue because you can eventually get something arranged, but finding the key words in a hotel feels odd.

The location, style, friendliness, and easy parking were great, but it was noisy because water ran down from guests on the second floor, and the room was very basic.
