Convenient to restaurants and A&M, the staff were kind and breakfast was decent, but the new‑looking property smelled old—like mildew from the AC units—and that could be an issue for the hotel’s scent.

The room was spacious and nice, and breakfast was great, but there was mold on the ceiling, a urine smell when you first walked in, two lights not working, and the air‑conditioning only went to 68, making it hot in south Texas.
