The hotel’s location is great, close to the river, the port, a leafy park, restaurants and shops. The river itself is lovely, perfect for a short electric boat ride or a swim in its turquoise, cool water, and families often gather there for picnics. Small restaurants in the town centre serve local specialties at reasonable prices. The hotel pool is nice and the bar is good, plus having a fridge in the room is a real bonus when it’s hot. Evening walks along the port are refreshing. The room on the 3rd floor has no elevator, which should be mentioned when booking, especially for those with reduced mobility. Parking in front of the hotel or nearby is tough because the area is very popular with locals who come for the day or evening; we were lucky to finally find a spot after a short wait. The room itself was tiny, barely enough space to stow our luggage and bags.

We had stayed at this hotel before. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely top, everything is within walking distance. The room furnishings could use a modern update.

The hotel is well situated. Breakfast was very good and extensive, with an open buffet. The staff were very nice, competent and helpful. The pool area was very clean and the ambience was pleasant. Family-friendly facilities were in place, making it ideal for toddlers. Pool bar prices were reasonable. Rooms were clean, with air conditioning. There was a good early‑bird discount. The bathroom fixtures were outdated and partially unsecured. The shower for men with XXL body size felt a bit cramped. The indoor air‑conditioning unit’s filter was full of dust. The windows were not fully sound‑proof.
