The only thing I liked was the location, right next to the main road

The room was nice, and the front parking was a bonus. The location was ideal for exploring Wells Gray Provincial Park, and we even saw a black bear—a great start to the day. Breakfast was at the golf club, a 10‑minute drive away; the first day it was very poor and we couldn’t even get orange juice. The second day was slightly better, but we still had to wait a long time to be served.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable with a good lake view, and some had more amenities than others, like a full cooking setup. It felt more like a motel than a hotel, and you have to drive 9 minutes to a golf club for breakfast.
