There wasn’t much to like. Even though the place had a free parking area, they charged £15 for a single day of parking… sad. From Saturday evening to Sunday, the roadside parking outside the accommodation was free, but no response when we asked. The mattress was too soft and I had back pain all night. The shower pressure was very low. The cleaning was poor. As soon as we arrived, we found two snack bags under the bed while unpacking.

The location was okay! There was no staff. The rooms were totally old, some with mold. Windows and blinds were dirty. It was cold. Dirty towels were simply hung back up.

Good spot, smooth check‑in, very tidy. The bed was extremely uncomfortable – I could only sleep on half of the single because it was so uneven and bowed.

The place is close to Oxford’s centre and within walking distance. All the basics were there and it was very clean. The self‑check‑in instructions were clear. The rooms contain the essentials but are fairly basic; fine if that’s all you need.

The place in North Oxford was very nice, with a room that was well decorated and spotless. The entry instructions were clear and parking turned out to be a big bonus. The manager was responsive and accommodating, but the shower cubicle was very small, though the water pressure and temperature were good. The price felt high, especially since the guesthouse is unmanned and offers no breakfast facilities.
