The hut itself blends rustic charm and modern comfort perfectly. It’s cozy, built with beautiful wood, and feels authentically Georgian. One side offers the iconic panorama of the snow‑capped Caucasus Mountains, while the other side gives a peaceful forest view that immerses you in nature. The bathroom is very compact, and the kitchen could have been cleaned more thoroughly, but compared to other places we saw in Mestia, this hut was the best overall. The outdoor spaces are awesome – a huge terrace overlooking the mountains, a hammock for relaxing, and a great BBQ area.

The location is great, far from everything, in the forest, with all the conveniences you could want. The rooms are spacious and had everything needed for a great stay. The views match the photos on the listing. The only issue was the kitchen’s lack of light – we had to use a flashlight while cooking and washing dishes. Also, because the hut is in the forest, expect many mosquitoes, gnats, and flies – but that’s not a problem with the hut itself.

Those were wonderful four days! The hut is spacious, tucked in the forest, quiet, and close to the upper ski lift queue. A road leads straight to the hut; if you’re on an off‑road vehicle it’s no problem to get there. With a car you’ll likely have to park near the lifts, about 200 meters from the hut. Inside, there’s a fantastic fireplace – big and with great pull. Every window offers an incredible view of mountain peaks and the forest. The large terrace with a hammock is beautiful. There are several beds, but all sleeping areas are in one open space, so privacy is limited – which was fine for the two of us. We really enjoyed the stay. If we come back to Svaneti, we’ll definitely stay here again! In winter, for those who ski, it’s a dream – just 200 meters on foot and you’re on the lift! After skiing, you’re home. The only downsides: we were there in summer. At night, all the insects from the forest fly into the open windows – we really needed mosquito nets. There aren’t many mosquitoes in the mountains, but moths flying around the room and dying from the heat of the fireplace were annoying. Please add window nets. The grill is low and small – buy a proper grill that lets you cook standing up, not squatting, and set up a fire‑safe zone. I was afraid of setting the forest on fire while we were grilling. I hope you fix these things and the hut becomes a 12/10 instead of the current 10/10.
