The views were sensational and the location was ideal for the wine cellars and town, the staff and communication were excellent, but it felt more basic than the photos suggested; it looked luxurious but was more like a hostel.

A paradise on earth, an enchanted pause! Marisa is an excellent, adorable, and responsive host. The place is simply amazing, the rooms are gorgeous, the bedding is perfect, ideally located with a breathtaking view. An enormous terrace overlooking the Douro and Dom Luís bridge… jump in with your eyes closed!!! THANK YOU

I organized a trip for 16 friends and this was one of our lodging options, it worked out great! The rooms were spacious, occasionally a bit quirky, but plenty of beds were available. Marisa was super helpful and easy to work with. Good spots to hang out, a great patio, and fantastic views of the Luis Bridge from the large patio and every room. An easy walk to Gaia wine cellars and restaurants, and easy access to Ribeira across the bridge.

The true paradise on earth with a magnificent view of the D. Luis Bridge and the city of Porto, all rooms offering that enchanted view, the house equipped with all amenities and the person responsible for the house with enormous attention and availability, excellent experience. There is nothing to point out, we just want to return!
