Nothing was good here; I won't recommend this “motel” to anyone and I'm telling everyone looking for a motel or hotel not to stay here.

Its Main Street location is super convenient—most restaurants are within walking distance or a 5‑minute car ride. The Galaxie, once known as the “motel for bad habits,” has been cleaned up nicely, and the staff and owners are very accommodating. I didn’t like that the rooms don’t pick up Wi‑Fi, so you have to sit outside the rooms to connect.

People were friendly, but the ongoing renovation left the place unfinished, with exposed electrical outlets, some outlets not working, sheets not changed, and no Wi‑Fi.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was. It was spotless, and I appreciated the effort the staff put into keeping it tidy. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end, and the rest of my stay was pretty uneventful.
