The room was very basic, the location was good, and I think we overpaid because Cannes was so busy that weekend. There was no air‑conditioning, no kettle or water in the room, it was very, very basic, and the staff didn’t offer to help with bags. It might have been okay if the price had been lower, but for what we paid it didn’t meet the basic expectations of a hotel.
