The lady at the front desk was sweet and tried to make us comfortable, but the overall vibe was killed by the owner, who was a real vibe killer and charged petty amounts. He forced us to serve ourselves and even clean after us. In the morning, no one was there until 9 am to give us hot water; he told us to heat it ourselves on a commercial stove—where are the safety measures? The food was just about average, the door latches were too tight and uncomfortable, and the main problem was the road: I’ve never seen off‑road conditions worse than this in India. It’s unfortunate that the hospitality industry has done nothing about it.
