Breakfast was good. I would have liked a “proper” loaf of bread to pair with the homemade jam and marmalade. Two solid dinner options were offered, but a salad or a light fish dish would have been a nice addition. The super king bedroom was excellent. We didn’t dislike anything.

A lovely spot, very cozy with great food and drinks – the breakfast was amazing. The price was also very good.

Getting there was easy thanks to the good parking. The room was comfortable, the bed was good, and the en‑suite bathroom was nice. Dinner and breakfast were pleasant, and the value was solid with reasonable prices compared to other nearby choices. The single room was a little small, but that’s just something to keep in mind.

Breakfast and dinner were served cheerfully, with humor and a very high standard, while one bedside lamp flickered; otherwise everything was impressive. The stay was very relaxing and enjoyable in this lovely, rural, traditional inn, and we hope to return.

Location, nice hotel and pub, friendly staff, value for money. Shower screens need looking at, as water escapes onto floor. Could benefit from hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes while taking shower. Only minor stuff
