“The staff was wonderful and the room was clean and well stocked.”
I missed breakfast, and the beds felt a bit too hard, which was uncomfortable for my back.

The hotel was beautifully maintained.

The room was warm and inviting. I liked having two chairs to sit in and two places to lay a suitcase. When we found a couple of broken items in the room (the toilet paper holder fell off the wall and the outlet in the bathroom was loose), the manager had them fixed within the hour. The staff were accommodating. I liked having the coffee stand available all day in the lobby. Breakfast was adequate. The eggs each day were not the best. The omelets were dry and the scrambled eggs were watery. I liked the mini scones and the waffles. My partner follows a kosher diet, so he could only eat the chicken sausage the one day it was offered out of the 4 days we ate at the hotel. Also, the bed mattress was too hard. It was hard to sleep on. I did not like having to pay about $20 a night more each night we stayed there for an accessible room. I cannot access a tub and needed the shower

The staff were lovely, especially the lady on the evening shift. Walking to Olean venues like the amazing Beef n Barrel and the equally wonderful old library was convenient. Breakfast was the only slight disappointment: only three hot options—scrambled eggs, potatoes, and a sausage patty—served self‑serve with plastic cutlery and paper plates, which felt limited compared to other hotels of this style. Otherwise, it’s a good hotel.

This was the worst hotel stay ever. I woke up in the middle of the night being eaten alive by some sort of bug, and we left at 6:00 am after arriving at 11:00 pm, barely staying over $300 plus a $250 security deposit that we were supposed to pay.
