The location was fairly good. If you have respiratory problems, stay away. The rooms had a strong damp smell that persisted despite the AC. When I mentioned the heavy humidity at reception, the lady handed me a toilet spray. At checkout, we felt treated like thieves when we handed over the keys, even though I had paid by card, so she had a record of my card. She had the entire room checked to make sure we hadn’t taken anything.

The breakfast offered nothing special and the selection was pretty thin, with hardly any choices to pick from. For the price it was a terrible deal – we paid 4100 baht for a family of four, yet the first room we got was spacious but only had a single wall‑mounted air‑conditioner, and the second room was the same size but at least had two units; the Wi‑Fi existed but never connected, giving the impression the owner was being cheap, especially for a property that should not charge 4100 baht in low season.

Breakfast was varied, but it was a shame there was no hot milk, and the rooms lacked bathrobes; the mattress was too soft. The staff were very friendly and the towels were changed daily. The restaurant that used to exist a few years ago should be reopened.

The hotel is near the central area with many restaurants around. The staff were helpful, the place was clean, and the breakfast view from the 5th floor was great to start the day. Room amenities were minimal and there was no restaurant on site.

The place was spotless, bright, and spacious, located close to a river, and the swimming pool was huge – absolutely amazing.
